3 places on the planet I love...

Bondi to Bronte coastal walk. It's one of most beautiful walks in the world and is the first thing I do whenever I get back to Sydney. Nothing like a good walk and gossip with a friend before a swim in the ocean to help shake off the jet lag.

Trassiera in Andalucia: A privately owned hotel tucked away high in the Sierra Morena mountains, 80km north of Seville. Its a sixteenth-century house surrounded by olive and orange groves. It's charming, quirky and supremely relaxing.

The Herb House spa at The Lime Wood Hotel in Lyndhurst is actually heaven on earth. It's from the same high-flying sty as 'The Pig' hotels and they don't seem to be putting a perfectly pedicured trotter wrong. I would argue a weekend here every six months or so is essential for one's well-being.

Luxury to me is...

Being able to walk through my kitchen barefoot confident I won't stand on a plastic princess carriage.

The book I most gift to others...

Matilda by Roald Dahl. It was the first book I read at primary school and I have loved it ever since. Now I have a daughter called Matilda it's even more special.
